1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and CallMeChat ("CallMeChat," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of us-callmechat.com and any related apps, features, and services (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Safety Policy, which are incorporated here by reference.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to register, and we will terminate accounts we believe belong to a minor.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
• One account per person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

3. The service

CallMeChat lets you meet and talk with other people through random one-to-one video chat and text chat, with optional interest-based discovery and translation features to help you find and communicate with people worldwide. Features, matching options, and availability may change over time, with or without notice, and may vary by region or plan.

We may introduce usage limits (for example, session length or daily conversation limits) and may modify or discontinue any feature at our discretion.

4. You're talking with real people

• CallMeChat connects you with other real users, not AI characters. We do not verify the identity, age (beyond account sign-up confirmation), intentions, or statements of other users, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of anything another user tells you.
• Use good judgment. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information (full name, address, financial details, passwords, or ID numbers) with people you meet on the Service.
• Do not record without consent. Recording, screenshotting, or distributing another user's video, audio, or messages without their explicit consent is prohibited and may also violate applicable law.
• Nothing said by another user constitutes professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or psychological).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create, share, or request any content that sexualizes, exploits, or otherwise endangers minors, in any form — this is a strict, zero-tolerance prohibition.
• Expose genitals or engage in sexually explicit conduct on camera, or share non-consensual intimate imagery of yourself or others.
• Harass, threaten, defame, stalk, or incite violence against any person or group.
• Impersonate another person, or produce content promoting terrorism, extremism, or hate based on protected characteristics.
• Solicit money, gifts, personal information, or off-platform contact under false pretenses (including romance scams).
• Violate any applicable law, including intellectual property, privacy, or export-control laws.
• Attempt to circumvent safety systems, content filters, age gates, or usage limits.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated means (including bots) to access the Service outside of any API we officially provide.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

We use a mix of automated systems and human review to enforce these rules and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate them. See our Safety Policy page for more detail and how to report violations.

6. Your content & license

"User Content" means messages, images, and other material you submit or transmit (including live video and audio) through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant CallMeChat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, transmit, and process it as necessary to operate, maintain, and secure the Service, including for the safety review described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to any material you share and that it does not infringe or violate any third party's rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by CallMeChat or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Optional purchases

• CallMeChat's core random video chat experience is free to use. We may offer optional paid features or subscriptions; prices, if any, are shown at checkout and may change with notice.
• Any subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
• Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable. Chargebacks made in bad faith may result in account suspension.
• Taxes may apply depending on your location and will be calculated at checkout where applicable.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, immediately and without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, our Safety Policy, or applicable law, or to protect the Service, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 13) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OTHER USER'S CONDUCT, STATEMENTS, OR IDENTITY WILL BE ACCURATE OR SAFE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CallMeChat AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CallMeChat from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction — to be confirmed with counsel], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise. 14. Changes to these Terms
